Key facts
The Swiss Federal Audit Office (SFAO) has carried out a follow-up audit at the General Secretariat of the Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sport (GS-DDPS), the Armed Forces Staff (AFS) and armasuisse on the implementation of key recommendations made in 2020 and 2021.
The SFAO has carried out the follow-up audit on seven recommendations. Two related to the single-term model, two to the deployment concept, one to the air-to-ground communication system project, one to the Air2030 programme and one to the decommissioning of armaments. The audit demonstrated that the majority of the identified risks have been taken seriously and addressed appropriately.
