The SFAO's management team is made up of Pascal Stirnimann (President), Eric-Serge Jeannet (Vice-President, Head of Competence Centres) and Eveline Hügli (Director, Head of Audit Domains). The audit domains and Competence Centres form a matrix organisation. The president and management team are supported by the management staff.

Pascal Stirnimann
Pascal Stirnimann has headed the SFAO since 1 September 2022. He holds degree qualifications as a Business Economist FH and Swiss Certified Accountant. In addition, he is a Certified Internal auditor (CIA) and a licensed audit expert.
Head of competence centres
Eric-Serge Jeannet
Eric-Serge Jeannet has been Vice-President since 2026 and heads the eight departments. He holds a degree in political economy from the University of Neuchâtel and a Master’s degree in public administration from IDHEAP. He is also a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and licensed audit expert, and has worked at the SFAOsince 1995. From 2013 to 2026, he held the post of Director of the SFAO.
Head of Audit Domains
Eveline Hügli
Eveline Hügli has been Director since 2026 and heads the seven areas of responsibility. She joined the SFAO as an evaluation expert in mid-2016. Just under a year later, she became a programme manager and has since overseen various departments. She has degrees in political science, security and defence studies, and mediation.
