Management bodies

Federal Finance Administration

Key facts

The federal government delegates the performance of certain tasks to spun-off organisations such as companies limited by shares, foundations, institutes and institutions, and monitors their work. The SFAO conducted a horizontal audit of nine of the 29 boards of directors, institute councils and foundation boards of the organisations. These are referred to as management bodies.

Overarching issues where there is a need for adjustment were identified. For the most part, the composition of the management bodies is appropriate, and they perform their tasks.
