The Swiss Federal Audit Office (SFAO) has completed the subsidy audit on the market premium for large-scale hydropower which was announced to the Swiss Federal Office of Energy on 2 July 2021. Following Parliament’s decision to extend the market premium, the SFAO performed an abbreviated audit and focused on potential areas for improvement in the implementing provisions.
