Between 2015 and 2017, the Swiss Federal Audit Office (SFAO) conducted three audits at the Federal Office for Buildings and Logistics (FOBL), which resulted in various recommendations. In mid-2020, the SFAO audited the implementation of four recommendations the FOBL had reported as completed at the time. The recommendations concerned the delegation of procurements by the central federal procurement offices, the planning of the federal asylum centres and the construction of a further administrative building in Bern on the Guisanplatz 1 site.
