Key facts
The Air2030 programme consists of four projects: new fighter aircraft, a new long-range ground-based air defence system, a new air traffic control system, and the maintenance, partial replacement and functional expansion of the radar systems. The clients are the Air Force and the Armed Forces Staff. The programme has a budget of over CHF 8 billion and is being managed by armasuisse. The main focus of the programme was previously on procurement. At the time of the audit, the projects were in the implementation or roll-out phase.
