Das Bundesamt f\u00fcr Strassen (ASTRA) hat seit 1. Januar 2008 den gesetzlichen Auftrag f\u00fcr den Betrieb und Unterhalt der Nationalstrassen von den Kantonen \u00fcbernommen. Die meisten Kantone nutzten die Applikation Strassendaten (STRADA), welche in Zusammenarbeit mit dem ASTRA entwickelt worden war und am Ende seines LifeCycle stand.
