Two proposals were put to the vote on 28 September 2025. Campaigners who spent more than CHF\u00a050,000 had to disclose their funding. The Swiss Federal Audit Office (SFAO) publishes the final figures reported by the campaign managers in the electronic reporting register <\/a>75 days after each popular vote.

The definitive receipts reported for the proposals put to a popular vote total CHF 8.54 million. This is 4\u00a0% below the budgeted figures. CHF 1.44 million was disclosed for the proposal \u2018e-ID Act\u2019. CHF 7.1 million was allocated to the proposal \u2018Federal Decree on Cantonal Property Taxes on Second Homes\u2019. The receipts may include double counts. (see below)

The SFAO audited a total of 5 of the 21 campaigns reported. In terms of value, these checks covered 76\u00a0% of total receipts for all campaigns. The list of people and organisations audited has been updated<\/a>. The SFAO is not authorised to provide information on the audit findings.

Why is it not always possible to add together the disclosed amounts for individual campaigns?<\/strong><\/td><\/tr>
If the criteria for a joint campaign are not met, each political actor discloses their individual campaign. In such cases, the same funds may sometimes be disclosed by different actors. If, for example, a campaigning organisation decides to provide funds from its campaign to another campaigning organisation, the receipts in question are correctly reported twice: once as own funds and once as a benefit.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
