The study by the University of Bern (2025) warns that the transfer of tasks in the area of transparency in political financing jeopardises the SFAO\u2019s core mission, independence, and reputation. The task would contradict INTOSAI standards, as it constitutes an executive function, and would also run counter to the will of the legislator.
