Das Bundesamt f\u00fcr Strassen (ASTRA) ist die Schweizer Fachbeh\u00f6rde f\u00fcr die Strasseninfrastruktur und den individuellen Strassenverkehr. Anfang 2008 trat die Neugestaltung des Finanzausgleichs und der Aufgabenverteilung zwischen Bund und Kantonen (NFA) in Kraft. Damit wurden Ausbau und Unterhalt der Nationalstrassen von den Kantonen an den Bund \u00fcbertragen. Die Steuerung der Investitionskosten erfolgt beim ASTRA seit der \u00dcbernahme der Nationalstrassen \u00fcber Projekte und nicht mehr \u00fcber Budget- oder Teilkredite.
