There are many directives in the Federal Administration. The question arose for the Finance Delegation (FinDel) as to whether tasks, powers and responsibilities are clearly defined and whether compliance with and implementation of the directives is inspected. The FinDel instructed the Swiss Federal Audit Office (SFAO) to conduct an audit on this at the following cross-departmental offices: Federal Office of Personnel (FOPER), Federal Office for Buildings and Logistics (FOBL), Federal Finance Administration (FFA) and Federal IT Steering Unit (FITSU).
