{"id":43638,"date":"2026-04-01T23:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-04-01T21:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.efk.admin.ch\/?post_type=audit&#038;p=43638"},"modified":"2026-03-31T09:15:44","modified_gmt":"2026-03-31T07:15:44","slug":"implementation-of-key-recommendations-supervision-of-management-organisations","status":"publish","type":"audit","link":"https:\/\/www.efk.admin.ch\/en\/audit\/implementation-of-key-recommendations-supervision-of-management-organisations\/","title":{"rendered":"Implementation of key recommendations: supervision of management organisations"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Swiss Federal Audit Office (SFAO) conducted a follow-up audit of the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property (IPI) on the implementation of key recommendations dating from 2022.<br><br>The IPI is responsible for supervising the five Swiss copyright management organisations: ProLitteris, Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Suisse des Auteurs (SSA), SUISA, Suissimage and Swissperform. These organisations collect royalties from users and distribute them to rights holders. In 2024, the amounts distributed totalled approximately CHF 330 million. The four recommendations examined in this follow-up audit concern various areas of the IPI&#8217;s supervision.
