Personal data is treated confidentially and is neither disclosed nor sold to third parties.

In close cooperation with our hosting provider, we make every effort to protect the databases from unauthorised access, loss, misuse or falsification.

No personal data is stored when our home page is accessed. Our hosting provider's web server registers only non-personal usage data, which is prepared for the Swiss Federal Audit Office is such a way that trends can be identified in order to improve the website offering accordingly (log files). The usage data is not linked to personal data.

The voluntary establishment of contact constitutes an exception in this regard. When your e-mail address is registered, it is included in a separate database that is in no way associated with the anonymous log files..

The Swiss Federal Audit Office uses a Twitter account for its publications and for press clippings for the public. We re-tweet press articles about us and our work. That does not mean we share the views in question.
