The SFAO recommended approval of the federal financial statements. In its role as auditor, the SFAO also confirmed the proper 2025 financial statements of the Motorway and Urban Transportation Fund (MUTF). The Confederation uses this fund to finance motorways and support urban transport projects. The SFAO reached the same conclusion in its audit of the annual financial statements of the Railway Infrastructure Fund (RIF).
